BLACK - our sin and separation from God

WHITE/CLEAR - the forgiveness and purification we receive when we confess to God our sinfulness and accept Jesus' death and resurrection as our only salvation

BLUE - water baptism (an act of obedience expressing our personal acceptance of Jesus' death and resurrection, symbolic of our death to sin and our resurrection to new life through Him); the gift of the Holy Spirit
Romans 6:4 - "Therefore we have been buried with Him through baptism into death, so that as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we too might walk in newness of life."
Acts 2:38 - "...Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit."
GREEN - our spiritual growth after salvation

YELLOW/GOLD - heaven; the streets of gold in the New Jerusalem
